Experienced Engineer and Coin Collector Roy Anderson

Based in Hannibal, Missouri, Roy Anderson is an experienced engineer. He spent nearly two decades as a project engineer at Processes Unlimited in Bakersfield, California, a role that involved providing instrument engineering principles to major operators in the oil and gas industry. Roy Anderson later served as the senior instrument engineer at IES and the senior engineer for Campos in San Ramon. He has also provided consulting services in the bio-solids processing industry.

Mr. Anderson studied mechanical engineering at Oklahoma State University. His career achievements include developing the world’s first open architecture SCADA system powered by satellite technology.

Apart from his work as an engineer, Mr. Anderson is an avid coin collector. He collects both American coinage of the 20th century and coins from around the world. He is a recognized Coin Collecting Merit Badge Counselor. He also enjoys riding motorcycles. He first rode a 1970 Yamaha AT-1 125MX racer, and has since restored numerous vintage motorcycles, including a 1968 Honda CL350, a 1969 Honda CL175, and a 1970 Yamaha CT-1 175.
